Pakistan Set to Host T20 Blind Cricket World Cup Next Month

The T20 Blind Cricket World Cup is set to take place in November in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone as it will be the first time the country hosts this prestigious tournament. The event promises to bring together some of the best blind cricket players from around the world, showcasing their skills and passion for the game.

One important factor still pending is the participation of the Indian team, which depends on receiving a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Sports and the government. If approved, India will be able to compete in the tournament and continue its strong legacy in blind cricket.

India has a remarkable history in the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, having hosted all three previous editions of the tournament. The Indian team has won the title twice, demonstrating their dominance in the sport, while Bangladesh claimed victory in one edition.

The Indian Blind Cricket Association has already announced a 26-member squad that will represent the country if they are given the green light. The team is gearing up for the event with a training camp starting on October 27, where the players will prepare for the intense competition ahead.

This tournament will be a major event for the global blind cricket community, offering a platform for these talented athletes to shine on the world stage. Hosting the World Cup in Pakistan is a significant step toward promoting inclusivity in sports, and the event is expected to draw considerable attention from cricket fans worldwide.
