Pakistan Signs MoUs to Attract ‘Multibillion-Dollar Investment’ from Kuwait

Pakistan and Kuwait are set to ink seven Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for investments totaling $10 billion in various sectors, including environment, mining, and food security.

The federal cabinet has given its approval for these MoUs, which will be signed during the forthcoming visit of caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar to Kuwait.

The projects covered by these MoUs include the expansion of water reservoirs, mining facilities, conservation of mangrove forests, information technology, and food security.

The move has been praised by Prime Minister Kakar and the cabinet members, acknowledging the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council and relevant ministries.
