The Pakistan Stock Exchange continued its bullish trend as the benchmark KSE-100 Index reached another record high, surpassing the 54,400 level during the Wednesday trading session.
At 11:30 am, the benchmark index stood at 54,355.01, marking a gain of 619.28 points or 1.15%.
Despite reaching a previous record intra-day high, some profit-taking occurred at the PSX, causing the benchmark KSE-100 Index to close at 53,735.73 by the end of Tuesday’s trading, down by 125 points.
