The Pakistani government has announced plans to establish over 250 E-Rozgar centers across the country, in collaboration with provincial governments and private institutions. These centers will be located in every district, with a focus on providing digital opportunities for skilled young people, especially in smaller cities.Punjab will have the most centers, with 149 locations, followed by Sindh with 51, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 28.
This initiative builds on a program initially launched by Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Punjab, which has already helped millions by offering affordable IT workspaces. The new centers are expected to further empower the youth, helping them engage more actively in the growing IT sector and take advantage of digital opportunities that can improve their careers and contribute to the country’s economic development.
