Pakistan to Introduce Digital Prize Bonds with Rs 4 Million Prize Money

The Pakistani government has made a decision to launch Rs1,000 prize bonds through the Digital Prize Bonds program.

Initially, Rs1,000 prize bonds will be introduced, and in the following phase, denominations of 500, 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 will be introduced.

The Rs1,000 digital bonds will offer a prize amount of Rs4 million and will be in the form of electronic bonds.

According to media reports, the National Savings organization will issue digital prize bonds as part of their effort to reduce paper usage. Buyers can access these bonds through the “Digital Prize Bond Gateway,” an online platform accessible via a dedicated application.

            Rs500  Two million rupees
            Rs1000 Four million rupees
            Rs5000 Twenty million rupees
            Rs10,000 Forty million rupees

Draws for the Digital Prize Bonds will take place on a quarterly basis or as determined by the Finance Division.

National Savings will announce the draw schedule at the beginning of each calendar year, and the results will be published in the official Gazette.
