In 2021, Pakistan will cross Rs 100 Billion e-Commerce trade, will have a digitalization of its economy and also enhance its local market size.
As per report issued by digital academic institution, ‘Extreme Commerce’ estimates that by 2025, it will grow into a community of more than 1 million strong, generating more than $1 billion in inward remittance for Pakistan.
Partnership has been signed between Extreme Commerce and Daraz to develop new entrepreneurial ventures for e-commerce and digital trade to increase the domestic size of the the market with knowledge-based learning platform.
According to the latest e-commerce statistics, issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) upto Q3 2020 (Q1 FY21), the e-commerce market size for the year upto Q3 2020 was 96B PKR (estimating a 60% COD volume), prepayment was 39B over the same period.
