Former Test cricketer Rashid Latif, who is now a sports television analyst, has stated that Pakistan will have the opportunity to host two matches in Lahore during the T20 Asia Cup 2022.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has confirmed that Pakistan will host four matches before the tournament moves to Sri Lanka. Teams from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal, except for India, will visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup. While India will play their matches in Sri Lanka, Pakistan is scheduled to have one group match against Nepal in their home country.
Latif’s tweet suggests the possibility of an additional match in Lahore, potentially making it a total of two matches hosted by Pakistan.
