Pakistani-American Doctors Collected 365,000 Dollars for Turkey Earthquake Victims

Pakistan has taken the lead in helping Turkiye in need of rescue assistance, and now Pakistani-American doctors have raised $365,000 (9 Crore) for earthquake victims who are currently suffering adverse weather conditions following massive devastation.

The Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) participated in an online telethon and contributed funds to help with earthquake relief.

Masood Khan, the representative of Pakistan to the US, and Hasan Murat Mercan, the representative of Turkey, both attended the meeting and informed the attendees about the earthquake.

Masood Khan urged the Pakistani community in the US and other countries to help the Turkish people, who were suffering from the worst disaster of the century and whose death toll had reached 46,000.

The Organization of Doctors of Pakistani Descent of North America offered to send a medical mission to the earthquake-hit region to aid in humanitarian efforts during the online discussion.
