Boston Health AI, a company founded by Pakistani-American surgeon Dr. Adil Haider, has partnered with Emirates Health Services to introduce Amal, the UAE’s first AI-powered clinical assistant.
The launch took place at the World Health Expo Dubai 2026, where healthcare leaders and technology experts gathered to explore new medical innovations.
Amal is designed to support doctors by conducting detailed patient interviews using artificial intelligence. The system can communicate in Arabic, English, and Urdu, making it accessible to a wide range of patients in the UAE.
After speaking with patients, Amal creates clear and structured summaries that doctors can review quickly. This helps reduce the time physicians spend on documentation and allows them to focus more on patient care.
The goal of this AI assistant is to improve the quality of medical consultations while also lowering the workload for healthcare professionals. By organizing patient information in a clear format, Amal aims to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and make clinical visits more productive.
Boston Health AI currently operates in multiple countries and has a team of nearly 100 professionals. The company emphasizes responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence.
Its approach is centered on supporting clinicians rather than replacing them, ensuring that technology works alongside medical experts.
The partnership with Emirates Health Services reflects the UAE’s commitment to adopting advanced healthcare solutions.
With the introduction of Amal, the healthcare system hopes to enhance patient experiences and improve overall service quality through smart, clinician-focused technology.
