Two young siblings from Pakistan, Abdullah and Minsa, who had traveled to India for medical treatment, have now been admitted to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) in Islamabad. Their treatment in India was unexpectedly cancelled, and they were sent back home without receiving the heart procedures they needed.
Upon their arrival back in Pakistan, Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal gave immediate orders to ensure they received proper medical care. As a result, the children were taken straight from the airport to AFIC, where a team of doctors is now carefully monitoring their health and providing the necessary treatment.
The Health Ministry has reassured the public that they are fully committed to looking after the health and wellbeing of all citizens, especially young children in need of urgent care. Officials stressed that Abdullah and Minsa’s health is their top priority, and that every possible step will be taken to ensure the best medical support, regardless of any recent tensions or regional issues.
Authorities are closely following the children’s progress and will continue to update the public as needed. The move highlights the government’s focus on compassionate healthcare and its dedication to supporting families during difficult times.
