Pakistani Designer ‘Ahtisham Ali’ Blames Peshawar Zalmi for Stealing his Markhor Design

One of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) most renowned and biggest franchise, Peshawar Zalmi has recently been accused of stealing the Markhor logo design (National animal of Pakistan) for their merchandise by a Pakistani Graphic Designer, Ahtisham Ali.

Ahtisham Ali revealed on his twitter handle that Zalmi has been using his design and selling it for more than a year, without his consent.

In his tweet, Ahtisham Ali wrote, “I would like to share an incident that recently happens. Few days ago I came to know that one of the most famous Pakistani brand (PSL cricket franchise) called “Peshawar zalmi” is selling my markhor design for almost one year as their merchandise without my permission.”

Ahtisham Ali’s tweet took the twitter by storm. However, many people expressed their support for Ahtisham. Whereas, the majority of individuals demanded that Javed Afridi, the owner of Peshawar Zalmi, should investigate into this matter.
