At least 15 individuals have so far been pulled alive from the wreckage by a team from The Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue-1122, which is taking part in the rescue and relief effort in Turkiye.
On February 6, a Mw 7.8 earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria killed hundreds of people and severely damaged a number of homes and businesses.
Almost 46,000 people have died as a result of the earthquake in the two countries thus far.
According to a representative for Rescue-1122, the Pakistani team of rescuers pulled three bodies from Hatay’s building debris on Sunday.
The crew has combed 146 places in the Hatay and Adiyaman districts in search of survivors and the deceased. The team found 63 bodies in the rubble after searching 184 bodies.
