Pakistan’s Exports Increased by 40 Percent to Rs. 1.605 Trillion in 3 Months

From Pakistan, the exports has witnessed a raise of 39.99% in the first quarter of fiscal year (2022-23) comparing to the last year, PBS report.

During July-September (2022-23) Rs. 1,605,826 million recorded the exports whereas, Rs. 1,147,073 were recorded in the previous year, representing an raise of 39.99%, as per data shared by PBS.

On YoY basis, 39.24 percent were recorded at Rs.563,714 million in September 2022 whereas in September 21 it was recorded as Rs.404,847.

On MoM basis, the exports raised by 2.81% in September as Rs. 548,326 million recorded in August, 2022.

The main commodities of exports during September, 2022 were knitwear (Rs. 100,580 million), readymade garments (Rs. 63,821 million), bed wear (Rs. 61,630 million), cotton cloth (Rs. 46,819 million), towels (Rs.20,115 million), rice other than Basmati (Rs.17,527 million), cotton yarn (Rs.17,471 million), made-up articles, excluding towels & Bedwear (Rs.14,764 million), rice Basmati (Rs.9,865 million) and fish and fish preparations (Rs.9,645 million).
