Pakistan’s Fastest Networks Revealed in Ookla’s Mobile Internet Rankings 2025

Reports revealed the fastest networks and regions in Pakistan. The findings highlight significant differences between service providers and cities, offering insights into where users can expect the best connectivity.

According to the report, Jazz secured the top spot in Pakistan’s mobile internet rankings with an impressive Speedtest Connectivity Score of 56.52. The network stood out for delivering seamless video streaming, quick downloads, and smooth web browsing experiences. Ufone claimed second place with a score of 49.97, while Zong followed at 41.21. Telenor, however, lagged behind its competitors, finishing last with a score of 36.45.

The rankings also showed clear disparities between cities. Faisalabad emerged as the fastest city, boasting a median download speed of 24.45 Mbps, surpassing larger hubs such as Lahore and Multan. Quetta recorded the slowest speeds at just 19.37 Mbps, while Sialkot and Karachi showed moderate performance but still fell short of Faisalabad’s lead.

On a regional level, Punjab topped the list with the highest median mobile download speed of 22.1 Mbps, followed by Sindh and the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). At the other end of the spectrum, Kashmir recorded the slowest speeds at 11.22 Mbps, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) posted slightly better results.

The report highlights that while Pakistan’s overall mobile internet landscape is improving, the gap between networks and regions remains significant. For users, this underscores the importance of choosing the right service provider and location to ensure the fastest and most reliable mobile internet experience.
