The Federal Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) Syed Aminul Haque has recently established the country’s first free studio at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) for social and digital media practitioners.
The aim of establishing this studio is to make things easier for journalists and allow them to do their jobs as efficiently as possible. Also, it will primarily function as a platform for journalistic operations while also increasing the productivity of its members.
According to the Federal Minister, the IT Ministry has spent more over Rs. 3 billion to provide internet broadband services to citizens of more than 3,000 underserved locations across 19 Sindh districts.
He further stated that these broadband services will benefit around 10 million people in these locations.
