Under CPEC, first Gwadar project gets power from National grid

Under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the national grid in Gwadar has been connected to two mega housing projects.

At the CPIC International Port City and China Pak Golf Estates projects in Gwadar, electricity connections have been approved and built. These are the first private sector residential communities in Gwadar where power connections have been successfully built and are being installed.

The first developer in the history of the city to complete its societies and handover plots to buyers is CPIC, a leading foreign developer who is at the forefront of real estate growth in Gwadar and promotion of the city globally.

Commenting on the accomplishment, Chief Engineer Waqas Moazzam said that by powering up our projects, this is another great milestone we have delivered in Gwadar. Now our internal infrastructure is not only complete, but the projects are mainly ready for people to live in. We have injected billions of rupees into the economy of Gwadar, which can be seen on the ground, and as Gwadar continues to grow CPIC projects in the coming years, it will be the only option for local and foreign professionals seeking high quality living in a safe gated community.

Two major societies were launched in Gwadar by CPIC and the company was recognised as a leader and pioneer in the region. In 2018, the company won the Best Real Estate Development of the Year award at the Shenzhen International Property Awards held in Shenzhen, China, and the Governor of Sindh won the Best International Real Estate Developer of the Year.
