Pakistan’s first-ever tourism-focused satellite TV channel, “Discover Pakistan,” was launched on Saturday, in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of making tourism a priority in mainstream growth.
This was revealed in a social media post by the channel’s management.
The channel is broadcasting in HD (high definition) in order to best project the country’s natural wonders globally.
The channel will promote Pakistan’s scenic scenery, historical sites, and significant areas.
The channel will also broadcast events and developments related to tourism, as well as a morning show showcasing Pakistan’s positive image.
The Discover Pakistan TV channel had been in the works since 2017, and was hailed as a fulfillment of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision.
