Pakistan’s Former Finance Minister ‘Abdul Hafeez Shaikh’ Working at Afiniti as Board Director

Hafeez Shaikh, a former finance minister, is one of six people left on the Afiniti group’s board of directors, after its founder Muhammad Ziaullah Khan Chishti was fired as CEO and Director due to sexual assault allegations.

Following the latest developments, numerous members of Afiniti’s top management have left the company to avoid the impact. David Cameron, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, resigned from the board of directors this week, alleging that he was uninformed of the sexual allegations against Chishti when he joined the company.

Chishti spent years developing Afiniti, collecting a great team of advisers that included three previous heads of state, including David Cameron, the former British Prime Minister, and Admiral Mike Mullen, the former US Military Commander. Jose Maria Aznar, Spain’s sixth president, and John Snow, the 73rd US Treasury Secretary, are among the other members.

Before being ousted, Chishti invented the Invisalign dental brace and built a $47 billion braces market.
