Pakistan’s IT Companies Make First-Ever Entry into Kuwaiti Market

Pakistan has achieved a major milestone as its IT exporters officially entered the Kuwaiti market for the first time.

A 17-member delegation of top Pakistani technology firms, led by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), participated in the Pakistan-Kuwait Tech Conference 2025, a landmark event for the country’s digital sector.

The conference, held in Kuwait, was jointly organized by the Embassy of Pakistan and the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO). It served as a platform to boost digital trade, promote innovation, and strengthen economic cooperation between the two nations.

Pakistani companies showcased their expertise in key areas such as artificial intelligence, financial technology, healthcare technology, and enterprise software solutions.

Their participation highlighted Pakistan’s growing capability in providing world-class digital services and its ambition to expand into international markets.

Experts noted that Kuwait’s information and communications technology (ICT) sector, valued at around $22.48 billion, offers vast potential for collaboration and growth.

The event allowed Pakistani firms to engage with Kuwaiti investors, tech entrepreneurs, and government officials to explore future partnerships.

The initiative also supports Pakistan’s vision to diversify exports and strengthen its presence in the global IT landscape. Officials from the PSEB expressed optimism that this collaboration would open new doors for investment, job creation, and knowledge exchange between Pakistan and Kuwait.

The successful launch in Kuwait is seen as a step forward for Pakistan’s IT industry, reflecting its increasing role in the regional digital economy and its potential to contribute to Gulf technology markets.
