Pakistan’s IT Exports to UAE Reached Record $376 Million

Pakistan’s IT exports to the United Arab Emirates have hit an all-time high of $376 million in the fiscal year 2024–25, marking a major milestone for the country’s fast-growing digital economy.

The announcement came from Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi during the inauguration of the Pakistan Pavilion at Expand North Star 2025 in Dubai, one of the world’s leading tech events showcasing innovation and entrepreneurship.

Ambassador Tirmizi shared that Pakistan’s global IT exports have also climbed to $3.76 billion, underlining strong performance across the tech services sector. This growth reflects increasing demand for Pakistani software development, IT-enabled services, and startups venturing into global markets.

The ambassador credited the country’s young, skilled professionals and supportive government policies for fueling this rise.

Pakistan’s presence at the Dubai event aimed to strengthen partnerships with UAE-based investors and companies, opening new doors for collaboration in artificial intelligence, fintech, and software solutions.

Industry experts say the milestone demonstrates Pakistan’s potential to become a regional hub for technology outsourcing and innovation. With more initiatives promoting digital entrepreneurship, exports are expected to climb even higher in the coming years.

This record achievement reinforces Pakistan’s vision of transforming into a digitally empowered economy and highlights its growing influence in the Middle East’s booming tech landscape.
