According to a CDA spokeswoman, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is planning another entertainment project for Islamabad residents.
Lake View Park will be home to Pakistan’s largest Ferris wheel, which will stand at roughly 180 feet in height. The park’s Phase-II, which has been dormant for more than a decade, is now being built.
The CDA chairman has requested that the project’s PC-I be submitted for approval as soon as possible. A Pakistan Movement Park is also being built around the flag in section H-8 along the Islamabad Highway.
In addition to landscape features, the park will include massive walls with 2-D images depicting various pictorials of history’s largest migration.
The park will be open on March 23, 2022, after a fast-paced construction period. In the National Park area, a new park has also been proposed near Bhara Kahu.
