Pakistan’s Population: A Bright Future for All, a mega-event organized to take place on 24th and 25th May highlighted the importance of family planning and reproductive health, becoming a valuable platform for communicating important insights on the topic.
The event is organized by the Palladium Pakistan DAFPAK-PSSD in partnership with MSS, UNFPA, DKT, PSI, M&C Saatchi, and MoNHSR&C. The provincial Health and Population Welfare Departments of Sindh, Punjab, and KPK also collaborated.
The event advocated the CCI recommendations, presented DAFPAK’s accomplishments, National and Provincial Roadmap FP2030, reflected the significance of climate adaptation, recognized the initiatives to scale-up, and management of map accountability.
The event was attended by eminent personalities and distinguished speakers. The Development Director British High Commission Pakistan, Jo Moir, expressed that his gratitude on expanding the family planning service in Pakistan. He also mentioned that through these initiatives the most critical issues of population dynamics in Pakistan can be highlighted. He also showed his willingness to join Pakistan’s strategies of building a sustainable future.
As Pakistan’s population keeps growing, it is mandatory to arrange such events highlighting the importance of family planning.
