From Aga Khan University (AKU), professor Zulfiqar Bhutta has been called one of 100 of the leading scientists in medicine in the very initial version of Researchcom’s leading scientists classification for medicine.
According to the notification, the criteria for categorization include h-index, which measures how many publications and citations a researcher has.
The jury of categorization observed more than 166,880 scientists on Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Graph, and 65,743 individuals for the medicine domain. The only average-earning scientist in the country among the top 100 is Professor Bhutta.
However, an intimate awareness, the accomplishment of an outcome is demonstrated by the categorization of younger researchers and the instructors throughout the world who have had experience of problems with me, of the most marginalised and impoverished women and children in poor communities,” Professor Bhutta is the foundational manager of the Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health and the Institute for Global Health and Development at AKU and at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Co-Director of the SickKids Centre for Global Child Health, Robert Harding Chair in Global Child Health and Policy, and Senior Scientist in the Child Health Evaluative Sciences programme, Professor Bhutta claimed.
According to the president of AKU, Sulaiman Shahabuddin, he stated that “I appreciate Professor Bhutta and his members for this brilliant success they have achieved. The living, not just inside the country but also nationwide, has been impacted positively by this important research at AKU.”
