During a recent meeting in Tehran, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei praised Pakistan for its strong and clear stance on the Palestine issue. He met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and appreciated how Pakistan has always supported the rights of Palestinians, even under pressure.
Khamenei said that Pakistan’s refusal to normalize relations with Israel, despite offers and pressure from different sides, shows true commitment and courage. He called Pakistan’s consistent support for Palestine “deeply admirable” and said it reflects the values and principles the country stands for.
The Iranian leader also highlighted the need for Iran and Pakistan to strengthen their cooperation. He suggested that both countries should work closely together to stand against the actions of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked Khamenei for his kind words and assured that Pakistan would continue to support the Palestinian cause. He also expressed interest in deepening ties with Iran on all fronts from regional peace to economic development.
The meeting between the two leaders showed a strong shared belief in justice for Palestinians and a desire to work together more closely. It also reinforced Pakistan’s message to the world: the country will always stand by the people of Palestine, no matter the cost.
