As part of the PCB’s Juvenile Development Program, the Pakistan Cricket Board has awarded 100 contracts to junior players aged 13 to 19. The players chosen have the potential to become future stars and help Pakistan win games.
Except for a few players who are now studying for examinations, the most of these 100 players are watching the HBL Pakistan Super League 7 final at the Gaddafi Stadium between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars.
In addition to financial assistance, the PCB will invest in these young people to help them develop their entire personality, including cricketing talents and education.
Following the implementation of the contracts, each of the 100 contracted players would get a monthly retainer of PKR 30,000.
Scholarships will be available at prestigious high schools and colleges/universities. The students will also receive technical instruction in addition to a thorough cricketing skill acquisition plan.
