PCB Bans Players from World Championship of Legends Over ‘Political Bias’ & Double Standards

PCB has decided to completely ban its players from taking part in the World Championship of Legends (WCL). The decision was made during a Board of Governors meeting led by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

According to the PCB, the main reason for the ban is that the WCL is showing political bias and going against the true spirit of cricket. The board said it strongly disagrees with how the tournament organizers handled the cancelled match between Pakistan and India. The PCB believes that cancelling the game was unfair and a clear violation of sportsmanship.

The PCB also raised concerns about the WCL’s press releases, saying they were politically motivated and not in line with the principles of fair play. Board members said that using cricket to push political messages and double standards goes against what the sport stands for.

In its statement, the PCB said that cricket should never be used as a tool to promote political ideas or make money unfairly. The board stressed that honesty, fairness, and the true spirit of the game must always come first.

By taking this firm stand, the PCB wants to send a clear message that the game should stay free from politics and biased actions. The board also urged other cricket bodies to protect the game’s values so that fans around the world can continue to enjoy cricket for what it really is — a sport that brings people together.
