PCB to take Legal Action Against Blessing Muzzarabani fir Joining IPL Despite PSL Agreement

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to take legal action against Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani after he withdrew from his Pakistan Super League (PSL) contract with Islamabad United to join Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Muzarabani had signed with Islamabad United as a replacement for Shamar Joseph but opted to move to the IPL following an impressive T20 World Cup campaign, where he claimed 13 wickets in six matches. This is the second consecutive year that a player initially contracted to a PSL team has chosen the IPL due to overlapping tournament schedules.

Last year, South African cricketer Corbin Bosch faced a one-season ban from the PSL after pulling out of his contract in a similar situation. By pursuing legal action against Muzarabani, the PCB aims to enforce contractual commitments and protect the credibility and integrity of the league.
