PCB will lose $1.5 million as a result of New Zealand’s decision to postpone their tour of Pakistan

The cancellation of the New Zealand series will result in significant financial losses for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of approximately 1.5 million dollars.

According to the publication, the PCB may not be able to file an insurance claim for the damages incurred as a result of the tour’s cancellation.

The Board may not receive the claim but the PCB will, in order to receive the compensation, address the subject before the International Cricket Council (ICC), “Pakistan vs. New Zealand series was insured,” she says. The authorities in Pakistan made every attempt to provide visitors with safety. The Prime Minister even contacted Jacinda Arden from the NZ, but the Kiwi declined to play.
