PEC shared data that there are 341,000 Engineers in Pakistan. Among of the, 30% of the engineers are serving out of the country, as per representative of APP
Informing several steps taken by PEC, he stated that since 2015, institution has introduced strong reforms and the degrees are now being recognized at international level.
He further said that 19 countries accept degree of the institutions at international level and PEC is among them.
126 institutions in the country are under PEC and not a single student got admission against the criteria. Or else, penalty of Rs500,000/ student would be imposed. Moreover, PEC award 10% of scholarships to the deserving students.
