The rates of People’s Bus Service have been raised up from Rs50 to 100, as per sources.
After an extension in routes as government approved the National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC), the federal body that operates and maintains PBS in the province jacked up the fares of the bus route in the city.
The rates of the routes from R-1 to R-10 excluding R-9 are same but the dates of R-9 has been increased from Rs50 to Rs100.
However, as per the sources the operator jacked up the fare of the PBS as it’s not commercially feasible to run the buses in the route more than 58 km due to an increase in prices
