A young boy of Peshawar is a rickshaw driver who is giving free rides to more than 100 school girls to promote the education of girls in his area. This rickshaw driver is only 29-Years old and named Arab Shah who gives free service of pick and drop to schoolgirls in his hometown without any intention of making money from students.
This rickshaw driver has been providing the free transport service for more than six years. However, during an interview with a local channel, he said that he provides this free service to about 100 girls which cost him nearly Rs.500 every day. He bears the cost on his own.
Moreover, he was asked as what inspired him to start this free service, he said, “My sisters did not have any facility for transport, and due to that they were unable to complete their education. This is the reason I started this free transport service so that these small girls do not miss out their education as my sisters had suffered.”
Shah also encouraged affluent people as to come forward and promote the girl’s education and provide this similar service in the underprivileged areas or the ones where the transport is an issue.
According to the source, this young man wishes to have more rickshaws in future to expand his free services of transport for these school-going girls who can’t afford their convince cost and skip their education. He added that “All this gives me a spiritual satisfaction.”
