Peshawar Zalmi secured a strong win against Pindiz in a high-scoring match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11). Chasing a big target of 215 runs, Zalmi reached 218/5 in 19.1 overs, winning the game with five balls to spare.
After winning the toss, Pindiz chose to bat first and made a solid total of 214/4. Their openers, Yasir Khan and captain Mohammad Rizwan, gave a strong start with a 125-run partnership. Yasir Khan played an attacking innings, scoring 83 runs off 46 balls, including six sixes.
Later, Kamran Ghulam added 37 runs, while Sam Billings remained not out on 18, helping their team reach a challenging score. For Zalmi, young pacer Ali Raza impressed with two key wickets.
In reply, Zalmi started fast with Babar Azam scoring 39 and Mohammad Haris making 47. After their quick dismissals, the middle order took control. Michael Bracewell played a crucial unbeaten knock of 35 off 17 balls.
Abdul Samad changed the game with a quick 33 off 11 balls, hitting four big sixes. Aamir Jamal finished the match with 17 off just 5 balls.
