The price of petrol is likely to rise in Pakistan from November 16, despite a decrease in international petroleum product rates.
While global price reductions and a strong dollar might not result in significant relief in fuel rates, there’s a possibility of petrol prices increasing by Rs 3 per liter over the next 15 days. On the other hand, high-speed diesel users could see relief of up to Rs 8.50 from November 16.
Additionally, kerosene prices are expected to decrease by Rs 5.5 per liter during the same period, and light diesel oil might witness a reduction of Rs 8.5 per liter.
The ex-refinery price of petrol, set at Rs 199.16 on November 1, is expected to increase to Rs 202.34 by November 15, while the ex-refinery price of high-speed diesel might decrease from Rs 225.72 to Rs 217.52 during the same period.
