Petrol Prices Increased by Rs. 5.36 Per Litre, New Price: 272.15

Petrol prices in Pakistan have increased again, adding to people’s financial worries. The government has raised the price by Rs. 5.36 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 272.15 per litre.

This latest hike will affect many people, especially daily commuters, drivers, and motorbike owners who already struggle with rising fuel costs. Higher petrol prices often lead to an increase in transport fares and the cost of everyday goods, as trucks and delivery vans spend more on fuel.

The government says the price change is due to higher global oil prices and changes in the value of the rupee against the US dollar. Petrol prices in Pakistan are reviewed every two weeks based on international markets.

Many citizens are now worried about how they will manage their monthly budgets. People are urging the government to control fuel prices to help reduce the burden on already stressed households.
