As per recent news, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to begin direct flights to Australia after the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority approved the request of the national flag carrier.
The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has started planning for direct flights from Lahore, the capital of Punjab, to Sydney, Australia’s densely-populated city.
On April 22, PK-9808 will depart from Lahore International Airport for Sydney; and on April 24, it will return to Lahore.
According to the PIA’s spokesperson, the flights will be operated by Boeing 777 aircraft. However, in the second phase, it also mentioned about launching direct flights from seaside metropolis Karachi.
