Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has released a new set of guidelines for COVID-19 detection tests and quarantine procedures for travellers flying to Saudi Arabia.
The passengers will be required to spend five days in dedicated isolation centres in Saudi Arabia that have received two doses of the Covid vaccination under the new regulations.
According to the spokeswoman, a family consisting of a spouse and their children will be able to complete their quarantine term together. Violations of the restrictions might result in fines of up to 200,000 Saudi riyals.
The firms will provide transportation and food from the airport to the quarantine centre, and the passengers will be subjected to a COVID-19 test 24 hours after landing in Saudi Arabia.
