PIA to Upgrade Boeing 777 Fleet with New Seats and In-Flight Entertainment

PIA is working to improve the travel experience for its passengers and bring it up to international standards. According to reports, PIA will upgrade its Boeing 777 aircraft by installing brand-new seats in both economy and business class.

The airline will also add a modern in-flight entertainment system so passengers can enjoy movies, music, and more during their journey. These updates are mainly focused on long-distance flights, especially for routes between Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

This move is part of PIA’s plan to make a comeback on international routes. Over the past few years, the airline has faced several challenges, including restrictions and a drop in service quality. Now, with these new upgrades, PIA hopes to attract more passengers and regain their trust.

At the same time, the privatization of PIA is also in progress. The government of Pakistan is planning to sell 50% of the airline’s shares to private investors. This process is expected to be completed by November 2025. Officials believe that privatizing the airline will help improve its operations and financial health.

PIA’s recent efforts show a serious attempt to modernize and compete with other global airlines. By offering better seating, improved entertainment, and more reliable service, the airline aims to give passengers a more comfortable and enjoyable flying experience.

These changes bring hope for a brighter future for the national carrier and a better travel experience for people flying in and out of Pakistan.
