PIA’s First Post-Hajj Flight Arrives in Islamabad with 307 Pakistani Pilgrims

The first return flight after Hajj 2025 arrived in Pakistan on June 11, marking the beginning of the post-Hajj operation. The flight brought back 307 Pakistani pilgrims who had performed Hajj this year.

PIA flight PK-732 landed at Islamabad Airport at 3:50 AM from Jeddah. Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhary was present at the airport to welcome the pilgrims with warm greetings and prayers.

This flight is the first of many that will bring back pilgrims to Pakistan. Over the next month, a total of 342 flights will arrive from Saudi Arabia. These flights will be operated by Pakistan International Airlines PIA, private airlines, and Saudi carriers. Around 88,390 pilgrims who went for Hajj under the government scheme will return through these flights.

In total, more than 115,000 Pakistanis performed Hajj in 2025. The Hajj Mission worked hard to make sure all the arrangements for the pilgrims’ return were smooth and comfortable. Special care is being taken at airports to help the elderly and those in need of assistance.

Family members and relatives are eagerly waiting to receive their loved ones at various airports across the country. The mood is joyful as pilgrims return home after fulfilling their spiritual journey.

The last return flight from Saudi Arabia is expected to arrive on July 10, officially ending this year’s Hajj operation.

This successful start of the post-Hajj operation reflects good planning and coordination between Pakistani and Saudi authorities, ensuring a safe and peaceful return for all pilgrims.
