Recently the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has announced two new schemes that is for the overseas Pakistanis who are an Account holders of Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA).
PM Imran Khan appreciated the record breaking rise in the remittances that were from overseas Pakistanis within the year; however, he added that it was just the “tip of the iceberg.”
He further said that “Overseas Pakistanis, over the years have kept our economy afloat,” he also added that he was in contact with the overseas Pakistanis for the past many years during his old cricketing days and those contacts are still strong.
Imran Khan announced the two schemes for the RDA; one that is under Roshan Samaaji Khidmat scheme for RDA holders that is for overseas Pakistanis who can now give donations, Zakat etc. very conveniently just through the banks portal and by selecting the charity and also paying the amount.
However, he mentioned this in his tweet while adding that this scheme will be for the first time for them to make donations directly to the Pakistan’s government landmark known as Ehsaas program.
Moreover, the other scheme is Roshan Apni Car scheme that will enable the overseas Pakistanis in order to buy cars for their loved ones easily at very attractive rates.
