PM Imran Khan announced Tamgha-e-Shujaat on Sunday for a man who went to great lengths to protect Sri Lankan manager Priyantha Diyawadana from a vigilante mob in Sialkot.

Tamgha-e-Shujaat shall be bestowed upon him. ”
In a video, Malik Adnan can be seen trying to defend Sri Lankan national Priyantha Diyawadana by himself at the Sialkot plant before being overwhelmed and tortured to death by a mob. In the footage, Priyantha Diyawadana is seen hiding behind Malik Adnan, who is seen pleading with demonstrators to spare the foreign manager.
