PM Imran Khan approves construction of new Cricket stadium in Islamabad.

During a meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja in Lahore, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave the green light to the construction of a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the development of a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Islamabad.

According to the specifics, the prime minister gave his consent in principle for the construction of a cricket stadium in the federal capital and urged the PCB chairman to use all available resources to complete the project as quickly as feasible.

When contacted, Ramiz Raja stated that efforts would be maximised to complete the stadium’s construction by 2025, allowing Pakistan to host Champions Trophy matches at the newly-constructed arena.
