Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Sohni Dharti Remittance Scheme (SDRP), an innovative programme that encourages Pakistani workers working overseas to send remittances to Pakistan through banks and exchange businesses in exchange for reward points.
The State Bank of Pakistan, the Ministry of Finance, and financial institutions are launching the project today at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad.
The reward points can then be used for a variety of incentives provided by partner organisations. Through a mobile application, SDRP can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
