On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan will open the Al-Qadir University in Sohawa, Jhelum. Based on Islamic teachings, Sufism, and modern scientific research, the university will play a vital role in character development and disseminating modern knowledge among the youth.
A university block has been finished, and two academic blocks are currently under construction. The university has around 60 female and male students enrolled.
In October 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of Al-Qadir University, with the goal of making it a birthplace of science and spirituality.
