Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the Ministry of Information Technology and other relevant departments to implement the e-office system in all government offices. He has set a firm deadline of one month to fully establish paperless operations, making it clear that any delays in the rollout of the e-office system will not be tolerated.
The prime minister stressed that starting next month, no government office should handle files outside the e-office system. He emphasized that improving transparency through this digital system is one of the government’s top priorities. He also ordered all government officers to ensure that all file management is done exclusively through the e-office platform.
To support this directive, the staff at the Prime Minister’s Office has already completed their training on the e-office system. Just last week, the prime minister himself began receiving files through this new digital system, marking a significant step toward a fully paperless government operation. This move aims to modernize government processes, making them more efficient and transparent.
