PM Shehbaz Arrives in Egypt to Attend G@za Peace Agreement

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Egypt to participate in the Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit, following a special invitation from US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The summit aims to finalize a landmark peace agreement to end the ongoing humanitarian crisis in G@za, marking a crucial step toward regional stability and cooperation.

Upon his arrival at Sharm El Sheikh Airport, the prime minister was warmly received by Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt Aamir Shouket and other senior diplomatic officials.

Prime Minister Shehbaz is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, reflecting the significance Pakistan attaches to this high-level peace dialogue.

During the summit, world leaders are expected to discuss frameworks for long-term peace, humanitarian aid, and reconstruction in G@za. Pakistan’s participation highlights its consistent diplomatic stance advocating for the rights and sovereignty of the Palestinian people.

Speaking ahead of his visit, officials noted that the prime minister’s presence reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to global peace, justice, and multilateral cooperation.

The visit also strengthens Pakistan’s ties with Egypt and other participating nations, signaling Islamabad’s continued role as a responsible voice in international diplomacy.

Pakistan’s representation at this historic event underscores its solidarity with Palestine and its unwavering support for peace in the region.
