During a ceremony for the construction of the Chashma-5 nuclear power plant in Mianwali, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured everyone present, including Chinese officials and ministers, that Pakistan is not at risk of facing a financial crisis or defaulting on its debts.
He addressed the rumors and false stories being spread by critics and stated that the government and institutions have worked hard to eliminate the possibility of default.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that Pakistan has received financial support, including $4.2 billion, through the approval of an IMF program and assistance from countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
