PM Shehbaz Sends Mango Gift to Bangladesh Leadership Before End of Term

As a friendly gesture, the outgoing Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, has offered famous Pakistani mangoes to the President, Prime Minister, and important figures of Bangladesh. This annual tradition helps strengthen the friendly relationship between the two neighboring countries.

Fasiullah Khan, the Press Counsellor at the Pakistani embassy in Bangladesh, mentioned on Twitter that this customary practice shows Pakistan’s strong commitment to building strong connections with friendly nations. He confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent a message of goodwill along with the gift of fresh mangoes to Bangladesh’s leaders.

This action comes during the final week of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s time in office, just before the expected end of Parliament on Wednesday. The early end of the National Assembly’s term will make way for an interim government to hold the upcoming general elections within the required 90 days.

Pakistani mangoes are famous around the world for their delicious sweetness, wonderful smell, and great quality. Varieties like Sindhri, Chaunsa, Langra, Sonaro, and Saroli mangoes are in high demand globally.

The exchange of seasonal mangoes between Pakistani leaders and foreign dignitaries goes beyond just food – it represents a deep friendship and mutual respect between the countries.
