Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invited a group of shepherds to Islamabad who showed great courage during the recent floods in Gadhar. These shepherds gave an early warning and acted quickly, which helped save the lives of nearly 300 people. Their alertness and bravery prevented what could have been a very big tragedy in the flood-hit areas.
The Prime Minister and the government praised their efforts and announced that a special ceremony will be organized in their honor. Along with this, the government has assured that more support will be provided to the communities who were badly affected by the floods, including relief and recovery measures.
