Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a special visit to the General Headquarters (GHQ), an important event during his time as the head of the government.
He received a warm welcome from Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, and the visit included meaningful ceremonies and heartfelt tributes to the nation’s heroes who have passed away.
During the visit, the Prime Minister met with Principal Staff Officers (PSOs), received an honor guard, and placed a flower wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada, as shared by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Additionally, he attended an event at the Army Auditorium, where he was the main guest for a ceremony dedicated to honoring martyrs and warriors. PM Shehbaz showed deep respect for these brave individuals and their families, acknowledging their many sacrifices for the country’s defense.
He praised the armed forces for their important role in protecting the nation’s borders and their unwavering fight against terrorism throughout Pakistan.
