The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) were rigorously instructed not to operate automobiles with more than 1800 cc on Thursday by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The premier’s order is a component of the government’s austerity campaign to reduce the strain on state finances and support the economy.
The prime minister also told the officers not to drive SUVs or cars with engines larger than 1800 cc. In this regard, a communiqué has been sent by the Cabinet Division to the police, FIA, customs, and customs intelligence.
